About The Position

ProVest, a leading legal support services firm, is looking for independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Applicants should reside in West Virginia, with a preference for those near Kanawha County.

Requirements

West Virginia residency (near Kanawha County preferred).
Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignment, on different days.
All attempts must be properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs.
Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email.
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Comfortable using mobile technology.
Value accuracy, honesty, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

Private Investigator experience.
Experienced Process Server.
Law Enforcement or Security background.

Responsibilities

Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
Manage assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile).
Document all service attempts using the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs.
Complete required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines.
Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times.
