About The Position

ProVest, a leading legal support services firm, is looking for independent contractors to serve legal documents in Minnesota. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Applicants should reside in Minnesota, with a preference for those near Fillmore County. The role involves making multiple service attempts per assignment, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, and documenting these attempts via a mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs. Candidates must be willing to visit local courthouses for document pickup and possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email. Flexibility in availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, is essential, as is comfort with mobile technology for reporting.

Requirements

Reside in Minnesota (near Fillmore County preferred).
Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignment, including before 9:00 AM, after 6:00 PM, and on weekends.
All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs.
Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email.
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Comfortable using mobile technology.

Responsibilities

Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
Manage assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile).
Document all service attempts using the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs.
Complete required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines.
Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times.
