About The Position

aeSolutions is seeking an experienced Process Safety professional to join our team. This role will serve as a Facilitator for PHA/LOPA studies and may also be involved in complex PSM projects as an Auditor or Lead Assessor on Facility Siting projects. The position offers opportunities for professional and personal development, client relationship building, and contributing to the team's expertise. The role involves providing oversight to junior staff, supporting proposal development, QA/QC of deliverables, and serving as a Technical Lead on projects. aeSolutions serves a diverse range of industries including Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Specialty Chemical, Automotive, Fertilizer, Paint, Pharmaceuticals, Plastics, and Pulp and Paper Products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Process Safety related to PHA/LOPA methodology, PSM/RMP program development and auditing, consequence modeling, and/or facility siting
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with a knack for thinking creatively

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training in PHA and/or LOPA desired
  • Experience in PHA, consequence modeling, and/or QRA software desired

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate PHA/LOPA studies
  • Serve as an Auditor or Lead Assessor on Facility Siting projects
  • Provide oversight to junior-level staff
  • Support proposal development
  • Provide QA/QC on deliverables
  • Serve as Technical Lead on projects with multiple diverse team members
