About The Position

The Process Quality Technician is responsible for managing post-process defects and coordinating with both Manufacturing and Engineering to determine part usability and work to repair as needed. This role ensures safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulations. The technician will review and disposition daily part non-conformances based on customer requirements and specifications, follow up on customer dispositions or actions in a timely manner, and monitor defect trends, escalating to the Process Quality Engineer as needed. Additionally, the technician will manage and maintain the flow of non-conforming material to and from the production lines and coordinate training for quality processes as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work 1st Shift (6am - 2pm) with an occasional overlap of 2nd or 3rd if needed
• High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Safety, Shop computer systems and Shop Support Requirements
• Proficient computer skills (email, Excel, ERP systems)
• Ability to work overtime including occasional weekend shifts
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves and gowns

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulations
