About The Position

Vericast is seeking a Process Quality Technician to join their 3rd shift team in a year-round temperature-controlled, bright, and clean manufacturing printing environment. This role is responsible for supporting the quality group and production teams, utilizing troubleshooting techniques to resolve Process Quality (PQ) related issues.

Requirements

Good typing skills.
Experience with Harland Clarke processes and procedures.
Willingness to train and a desire to increase knowledge of quality duties.
Strong technical and computer knowledge.
Attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Experience using MS Office.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to effectively communicate with QCS, Account Managers, and Priority One Managers.
Ability to make fact-based decisions with the shift Team Leader.
Must be able to perform bending, walking, standing, and kneeling 8-10 hours a day.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs on occasion.

Responsibilities

Perform Print, Bindery, Packaging, & Mailroom audits and inspections.
Inspect problem runs and perform equipment quality tests (e.g., motion quality, signal strength, MICR sampling).
Evaluate and count spoilage.
Support production teams with quality-related questions.
Produce and process samples for QCS.
Conduct research and root cause analysis.
Attend daily Team Business Meetings as the quality resource.
Research and identify late work.
Run ready to sort reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
