About The Position

The Process Planner will be responsible for planning, developing, and validating assembly and test instructions using eCATES. This role involves defining and validating the necessary tooling and test equipment to ensure modules and engines are assembled and tested according to P&WC quality and engineering standards. The position also requires maintaining Engine Center General Instructions (ECGI) to guide assemblers on standard work procedures, supporting CVIS and ROFFIN programming, and assisting with the implementation and programming of the TMS (Torque Measuring System). Additionally, the Process Planner will participate in PFMEA/PFMEAS activities and RPN determination, ensuring all assembly and testing processes adhere to applicable quality, engineering, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in assembling and testing modules and/or engines.
  • Must be fluent in French.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
  • Due to project restrictions, candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite in Mirabel, Quebec.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Mechanical Engineering Technician experience/education may also be considered.
  • Experience with assembly process planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and validate assembly and test instructions using eCATES.
  • Define and validate the tooling and test equipment required to assemble and test modules and engines according to P&WC quality and engineering standards.
  • Maintain Engine Center General Instructions (ECGI), which provide assemblers with guidance on standard work procedures.
  • Support CVIS programming and programming of the data plate machine (ROFFIN).
  • Support the implementation and programming of TMS (Torque Measuring System).
  • Participate in PFMEA/PFMEAS activities and RPN (Risk Priority Number) determination.
  • Ensure assembly and testing processes meet applicable quality, engineering, and safety standards.
