About The Position

This position will support manufacturing through process control and improvement initiatives. The intern will assume responsibility for the integrity of assigned products, establish and maintain external and internal customer contacts, document and prepare part-specific work instructions, and maintain knowledge of job costs to develop and implement appropriate plans to improve profitability. Essential functions include developing new and refining existing investment casting products to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing costs, supporting manufacturing in the production of castings through all operations, and assisting engineering/manufacturing in the completion of assigned projects.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required
• Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Engineering/Management
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook
• Casting or metal fabrication experience preferred
