About The Position

The Process Operator monitors process control systems and adjusts equipment to safely and efficiently produce PepsiCo food products, including Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos. The role uses technical expertise and problem-solving to support consistent product quality and reliable production. This position is based in York, Pennsylvania. The schedule is Friday through Tuesday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and includes weekend and holiday work. The role involves a fast-paced, hands-on environment with frequent movement, lifting, bending, and handling of product. On-the-job training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access plant areas.

Responsibilities

Monitor process equipment and conditions using process control and process information systems, including process levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
Collect and report plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and cost yields.
Perform analytical checks and adjust control systems and manually operated equipment based on process and laboratory data.
Troubleshoot deviations in process, product, or equipment performance and determine root causes using Root Cause Analysis.
Troubleshoot process equipment and perform routine repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance.
