The Process Operator is responsible for safely packaging finished products and filling bulk trucks in a compliant and timely manner to meet internal and external demands, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role supports operations within the MAP 1070 process and Works I while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods during a shift.

Responsibilities

  • Package dry and liquid products into bags, drums, pails, totes, and bulk trucks according to production schedules.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment, including aligning transfer lines, obtaining lab approvals, and ensuring accurate filling of finished products.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine checks to maintain safe, efficient operations; promptly report mechanical concerns to supervision.
  • Follow procedures for sampling, testing, clearing lines, and isolating valves and tanks after production runs.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and ensure effective communication during shift handovers.
  • Operate forklifts safely for material handling; perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, including participation in training, audits, incident investigations, 5S activities, and waste minimization efforts (RCRA).
  • Work collaboratively with production and operations team members to meet business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
