About The Position

Responsible for the operation of the plant equipment, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Requirements

• Operating Equipment: Uses tools, machines, and/or vehicles to complete the assigned work.
• Safety Focus: Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.
• Accountability & Dependability: Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight.
• Results Focus: Focuses on results and desired outcomes and how best to achieve them in order to get the job done.
• Reading Comprehension: Grasps the meaning of written information and applies it to work situations.
• Physical stamina and strength.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area.
• Monitor, control, and record process functions.
• Feed raw material to semi-automated machines.
• Perform quality control procedures, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Collect product samples for lab testing.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
