About The Position
Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED.
- Computer knowledge.
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience or chemical experience, construction, mechanical, farm/agricultural experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Be in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. without mechanical assistance.
- Be physically able to perform job duties.
- Possess good degree of manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform duties with minimum of supervision.
- Ability to observe, record and analyze process information.
- Able to read and interpret instruments, gauges, etc.
- Able to communicate and understand operating information.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring and measuring of processes.
- Packaging.
- Transfer from tank to tank.
- Daily samples.
- Interaction between shipping, QC and maintenance departments.
- Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts when required.
- Must be able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
