Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English specific to work instructions, including for safety purposes.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Over 1 year of experience in the Food or Process industry.
  • Technical orientation.
  • Experience in working with quality systems and HACCP.
  • Experience in training co-workers.
  • IT competence: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint) and ERP systems.
  • Social competence and ability to establish sound relationships with others.
  • Ability to work in a systematic, analytical, accurate, and structured way.
  • Improvement driven and focused on completing goals.
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to climb several flights of stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees).
  • Ability to be mobile in accomplishing tasks and/or moving from one worksite to another, including in-plant departments (Shipping-Receiving, Production, etc.) and/or to Oatly’s 3rd party warehouse.
  • Ability to repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours).

Responsibilities

  • Build up, maintain, and further develop the quality system and HACCP work at site, in collaboration with the site manager and global organization.
  • Participate in LEAN/Improvement work.
  • Perform exterior cleaning of equipment and verify CIP (Clean-In-Place) processes.
  • Follow Food Safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Comply with GMPs, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, sanitation procedures, general housekeeping, and food safety and food defense practices.
  • Utilize process data, trend analysis, and training to monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to process conditions to optimize plant operations.
  • Collect and test samples at different stages of the process, taking action based on results when required.
  • Perform basic laboratory testing including pH, viscosity, total solids, and titration.
  • Maintain a clean facility and follow the sanitation schedule.
  • Perform ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) swabbing.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
