About The Position

The Process Operator I is responsible for independently performing various positions within the production line, including Bagger/Strapper Operator, Boxer Operator, Filler, or Middle Operator. This role requires adherence to all job responsibilities, promoting health, safety, and environmental regulations, and upholding the quality system. The position involves close coordination with quality control and meeting customer demands, with additional reporting to supervisors and management.

Requirements

For Bagger/Strapper and Mixer Positions – Use and proficiency on respective machine computers.
Ability to fill out and complete production and safety paperwork.
Ability to work shift work.
Visual Acuity (including color perception).
Good Hearing.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently perform duties of Bagger/Strapper Operator, Boxer Operator, Filler, or Middle Operator.
Promote health, safety, and environmental regulations by ensuring standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to.
Promote the quality system through adherence to its elements.
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety rules and procedures.
Responsible for the visual quality of the product.
Maintain work station; keep clean, organized, and safe from tripping hazards.
Bagger/Strapper Operator: Accurately weigh and measure raw materials as required.
Boxer Operator: Accurately stamp or label boxes as required.
Middle Operator: Perform process for splicing into production line surfacing fabrics and film as needed. Maintain the operation of the entire middle section of the line in relation to quality specification and product requirements. Maintain the operation of the press rollers and cooling process of the sheet. Set up raw materials. Assist for set up in product changes.
Coatings Operators: Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and fill raw materials as required.
Perform other duties as required.
