About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all equipment essential to the manufacturing function within the process area. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Working knowledge and thorough understanding of pneumatics, power transmissions (chain drives, e.g.), pumps, valves and bearing application
Technical maintenance training
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical equipment issues
Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings
Accurate measuring ability
Ability to furnish personal tools as required on the Process Mechanic tool list
Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles

Nice To Haves

Sketching ability
Four years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee Foods
Hydraulics experience
Ability to obtain and maintain an L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license
Electrical training at a technical school
Basic welding and fabrication
Basic machine shop

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in process area
Perform other related duties as needed
