This role is responsible for the routine and non-routine repair and maintenance of process equipment and systems. The Process Mechanic III will build upon basic mechanical aptitude and expand their knowledge and skills in the repair and maintenance of process equipment and department systems in compliance with established Company standards. Process equipment and systems include but are not limited to receiving, sorting, conveying, pumping, weighing, peeling, scrubbing, blanching, cutting, drying, battering and frying. Prior experience with processing equipment, electrical troubleshooting, and welding is a definite advantage. The individual will develop the skills necessary to repair process equipment and perform maintenance activities that improve and sustain equipment reliability to maximize plant production and uptime. This position requires the ability to work the scheduled days, shifts, times, and overtime required.
