About The Position

The S&OE Process Manager role is responsible for helping our IBP Center of Excellence enable Clorox's planning transformation while supporting and advising our Business Unit IBP Teams to deliver target outcomes. Key areas of focus for the role are to monitor, guide, and enhance the S&OE and inventory planning processes across Business Units, ensuring alignment with best practices, providing technical solutions for process improvements, and supporting users through training, documentation, and proactive communication.

Requirements

  • Comprehension of CPG supply chain operations, allowing for holistic understanding of integrated business processes and requirements in supply planning.
  • In-depth understanding of best-in-class demand forecasting processes, methodologies, and challenges.
  • Proficient at identifying process enhancements through observation and effectively influencing senior team members to adapt workflows or meeting procedures.
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose end-to-end supply chain risks, including the impacts of forecast variability, supply disruptions, and execution gaps on business performance .
  • Strong proficiency in querying, transforming, analyzing, and synthesizing large and complex data sets to generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to rely on data to drive decision-making processes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions and organizational levels without direct authority .
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills; a strong connector across teams and functions.

  • Proven ability to lead training initiatives, drive adoption of new processes and capabilities, and effectively manage organizational change.
  • B.A. in Operations management, Supply Chain, Business Analytics or related field.
  • 5-7 years supply chain experience, CPG / fast-moving consumer goods preferred.
  • Deep experience in S&OP / network planning / demand planning / DRP / Production Planning / Inventory Management.
  • Experience in statistical modeling / predictive analytics.
  • Experience interfacing and influencing across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor S&OE and Inventory planning process execution in BUs to identify gaps and areas for improvement vs best in class standards defined.
  • Identify challenges in current S&OE and Inventory planning processes & methodologies, and translate into process related solutions and/or technical recommendations for improvement to be shared with the Kinaxis Maestro Product Manager.
  • Partner with the Kinaxis Maestro Product Manager and S&OE Process Excellence to monitor S&OE and Inventory planning system and applications upgrades and new capabilities and identify impacts to processes & potential process improvements to best utilize new functionalities.
  • Develop with S&OE Process Excellence Manager standard ways-of-working for S&OE and Inventory Planning, designing, maintaining and deploying process documentation and guidelines to ensure consistency in activities across BUs as needed in service of IBP.
  • Teach the S&OE and Inventory Planners CoP on Kinaxis Maestro, assist users who need help with specific tasks and help escalate system issues to the Product Manager for resolution.
  • Lead training programs in partnership with the system-related Product Manager on S&OE and Inventory Planning process changes while maintaining training documentation.
  • Be an SME and 1st line of support for users and lead training as needed.
  • Continuously monitor forecast accuracy results across BUs to identify trends and systematic issues indicating potential process gaps.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with BU IBP teams to ensure that network planning processes & systems are meeting business needs.
  • Support the development and alignment of the S&OE and Inventory Planning capability roadmap with the S&OE Process Excellence Manager, driving stakeholder engagement, leadership buy-in, and prioritization of process and system improvements.
