What you’ll do The Process Engineer and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes while leading the maintenance technician team to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role combines technical expertise with hands-on leadership to minimize downtime improve asset performance, and support production objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related)
  • 5+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or maintenance/reliability
  • Strong leadership and team management
  • Expertise in maintenance strategies (TPM, PM, PdM)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Results-driven with high accountability

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Lead OPEX projects and support in CAPEX projects
  • Monitor process performance using KPIs and implement data-driven improvements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, RCA)
  • Maintain process documentation (SOPs, workflows, standards)
  • Maintain a regular floor presence to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily and weekly maintenance activities with the help of the maintenance planner
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration
  • Own and optimize the preventive and predictive maintenance program
  • Ensure high equipment uptime and reliability (OEE)
  • Lead troubleshooting of major equipment failures and oversee corrective actions
  • Drive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance
  • Ensure effective use of CMMS systems
  • Manage work orders, backlog, and maintenance planning
  • Maintain accurate asset history and documentation
  • Support spare parts and inventory strategies
  • Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and HES teams to meet operational targets
  • Act as the key interface between maintenance and operations
  • Support production in resolving technical issues quickly and effectively
  • Support daily operations and performance meetings
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO), safe work procedures, and risk assessments
  • Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety
