About The Position

As a Process Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Participates in projects to achieve milestones and objectives to support IMS (Integrated Materials Solutions) business strategy.

Requirements

  • Graduating with a PhD in materials science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or chemistry, or related field
  • Familiar with CMOS integration, FEOL products, and key CMOS modules/processes
  • Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
  • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
  • Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Contributor for IMS FEOL projects for Advanced CMOS Logic
  • Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on significantly complex process engineering experiments for a range of products, within safety guidelines
  • Develop, plan and execute process engineering projects for a range of products
  • Design and implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation
  • Generate internal and external documentation for presentations, technical reports for integrated products and generate process engineering specifications for integrated products
  • Develop and execute complex technology and engineering projects and lead research and development of new technologies as appropriate.
  • Develop innovative solutions as part of proven track record of significant technology contributions.
  • Conceive and implement new technology, normally named as primary inventor on critical patents and recognized through awards and/or published papers.
