Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in a consumer products manufacturing operation preferred.
• Ability to conduct assessments and audits and evaluate to measure progress.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
• Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.

• Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining & improving true efficiency (TE), running efficiency (RE), production system capabilities, and operational stability.
• Driving cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety.
• Developing mastery of assigned processes to deliver improved TE, quality, and yield.
• Leading loss analysis & TE improvement plan development, execution, and results tracking.
• Facilitating Lean Six Sigma (LSS) project management throughout the plant.
• Leading rapid changeover activities, including principles, target setting, and reducing changeover time.
• Managing the Centerline System, including its development, maintenance, and change management initiatives.
• Applying reliability expertise to stabilize and improve operations, driving variation down and seeking improved TE through capital, procedural, and operational improvements.
• Leading manufacturing transformation initiatives for the site.
• Overseeing analytical troubleshooting & problem-solving.
• Developing annual operating plans, yield, waste, and fixed budgets, and coaching others on these areas.
• Developing the team to solve and manage day-to-day operational issues and achieve performance goals.
• Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to assist teams in solving operational issues.
• Understanding the fundamental tools & methodologies of TPM pillars (FI, AM, PM, EM).
• Understanding the CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, Verification) process.
• Providing weekly, period, and Year to Date reliability and variability downtime analysis support.
• Demonstrating good oral and written communication skills through leading meetings and preparing written communications.
• Assisting in plant initiatives and direct line supervision as needed.
• Requiring regular presence on the plant floor.
