About The Position

The Process Engineering Technician will be responsible for releasing WIP from hold, executing OCAPs (Out-of-Control Action Plans) following process specifications, executing engineering experiments, training and certifying operators, and auditing and editing process specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices, with in-depth knowledge of unit processes. Experience with SEM and engineering statistics is beneficial. The position involves working in a cleanroom environment and adhering to semiconductor protocols. Additionally, the role requires compliance with site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards, and may involve responsibilities related to ISO 9000, 9001, 14001, and other applicable quality and environmental management systems. Requirements

• Knowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices
• In-depth knowledge of unit process
• Knowledge of engineering statistics
• Good written/oral communication skills
• Fluency in MS Office suite as well as JMP or other statistics software
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor protocol/requirements
• Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods
• Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)
• Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)
• Stand for up to 4 hours at a time
• Lift up to 16-30 Pounds
• Push/Pull up to 16-30 pounds
• Sit for up to 4 hours at a time
• All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
