About The Position

The Process Engineering Technician will be responsible for releasing WIP from hold, executing OCAP following process specifications, and conducting engineering tests as instructed by engineers. This role also involves training and certifying operators, proof-reading process specifications, and monitoring/analyzing SPC and process data streams. The position requires the ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to semiconductor protocols. Employees must follow site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards. Depending on location, this position may be responsible for executing and maintaining ISO 9000, 9001, 14001, and/or other applicable standards within the Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Adherence to Coherent Corp.'s values (Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm) is expected in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ years of related experience
Basic knowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and standard operating procedure in factory.
Basic knowledge of die sort.
Good written/oral communication skills.
Fluency in MS - Excel, Word.
Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods
Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)
Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)
Stand for up to 4 hours at a time
Lift up to 16-30 Pounds
Push/Pull up to 16-30 pounds
Sit for up to 4 hours at a time
