About The Position
Flex is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to support manufacturing assembly operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role will support production lines through equipment troubleshooting, process monitoring, automation support, line changeovers, and continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting manufacturing processes, production equipment, and engineering teams while driving operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training.
- Successful completion of company provided training may be required.
- 2-3 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs set‑up of processing equipment.
- Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
- Processes test runs and prepares records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
- Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
- Line change configuration.
- Performs corrective maintenance.
- Follows escalation procedures.
