Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher level of education) in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering but all disciplines will be considered
  • Knowledge and experience in oil & gas, particularly in operations support role or project management role considered an asset
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills that enables building strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
  • Eligibility to work in Canada on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Leading multiple projects simultaneously within the <$20M portfolio of projects through the early project stages, with hands-on field experience, building technical depth in facilities design across the site.
  • Collaborating across functions and disciplines to ensure completeness of the business case and technical basis, delivering industry competitive projects.
  • Setting and communicating clear objectives and strategies for the project, aligning stakeholders on project priorities and leading evaluation of concepts in line with objectives and priorities for the project.
  • Ensuring project competitiveness to ensure safe, reliable, cost effective design bases for projects, often overseeing and directing contractor development of FEED.
  • Providing oversight and quality control on contractor deliverables, participating in and contributing to various reviews and project assessments as well as opportunities for systems start up and turnover.
