About The Position

Our Plant Process Engineering Co-ops will provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes at one of several Amcor manufacturing sites. A successful co-op will complete multiple projects throughout their term, solving real issues in the manufacturing environment. Past students have worked to install new capital equipment, identify the route cause for defects, and created substantial cost savings through waste initiatives.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, to work with manufacturing operations personnel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects in addition to day-to-day process problems.
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, Share Point, and the ability to quickly learn software needed to perform job specific duties.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes.
