About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency (“RF”) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (“PCB”s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market . According to customer and internal specifications, designs and implements manufacturing processes and equipment for the manufacture of PCB’s, including process optimization and continual improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in technically related field.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering software and Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, or enrollment in the Tyco Green Belt Training is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
  • Ability to use personal experience, education, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Focus on process yield and improvement.
  • Interact with customers regarding process improvement and failure analysis.
  • Support manufacturing by process definition and implementation.
  • Ability to specify materials, tools, equipment (when possible), and process parameters.
  • Ability to assist in training of manufacturing personnel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for process improvement.
