About The Position

BAE Systems is looking for a hands-on, experienced Process Engineer to be a contributor in our EWIMC - CCA factory for first shift. They will be someone who can influence the team within the factory as well as the Integrated Product team outside of the factory. This is a 2nd shift position working a 4/10 Monday through Thursday schedule. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will make impacts in the following ways: Maintaining the stability of a Production Line while continuously driving improvements, manufacturability, and driving root cause analysis. Partner with suppliers and design teams to assure designs are producible and maintainable. Driving manufacturing process improvements, production problem resolutions, and integrating solutions into a lean manufacturing environment. Collaborating with other functions is crucial to success, some of these functions include supply chain, quality (inspectors, manufacturing product assurance (MPAs), etc.), program office, and new product introduction (NPI) engineering as well as the product engineering team. The individual will work in both office spaces and production environment supporting the factory full time onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline or at least 10 years of CCA manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership, people skills, judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Capable of becoming a team member of the process engineering organization and exhibiting leadership skills that serve the needs of the process engineers and the factory
  • This position will combine leadership responsibilities with task management where needed
  • Solder stencil design using Visual Cam Software
  • Fuji pick and place equipment (NXT III, AIMEX) systems
  • Programming of Koh Young Solder Paste Inspection equipment
  • Programming of OMRON Automated Optical Inspection
  • Programming of CTI routing Equipment
  • Creating programs using AEGIS FACTORYLOGIX software
  • Must have a thorough understanding of thermal control and soldering with AirVac Hot Gas rework stations and Vitronics Reflow Ovens
