(EMUS) a member of the Ricoh family of companies, which has a rich history of environmental conservation, community involvement, and steady company growth.  ETRIA Manufacturing USA Inc is part of a joint venture with Toshiba TEC (ETRIA Global website [https://etria.global/en/]).  We are a leading provider of toner products at our facilities in Lawrenceville, GA.  Join our team to help create the best manufacturing company in the office printing industry.  Working at EMUS as a Process Engineer 2 you will be given the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment in our Toner Department in our Lawrenceville campus. In this vital role as a Process Engineer 2, a major focus of this position will be to work on master plans for trials, including conducting the trials, and presenting the findings. The ideal candidate will have experience creating and conducting trials and investigating yields and quality issues.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot a variety of routine to complex production problems involving manufacturing processes such as quality and yield issues. Investigates and determines the root cause of failures and problems. Recommend countermeasures or changes in processing methods.
  • Conduct routine to complex engineering trials and production process evaluations for manufacturing operations. Analyze production data and identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement. Recommend process adjustments to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency and reduce material and manpower costs.
  • Develop, test, implement and document a variety of routine to complex processes in the manufacture of new and existing parts and/or products.
  • Focus on continuous improvement opportunities, cost reduction and fast corrective actions.
  • Investigate and determine the root cause of failures and problems.
  • Recommend countermeasures or changes in processing methods.
  • Recommend process adjustments to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency and reduce material and manpower costs.
  • Create, write, and modify work process procedures.
  • Conduct research, compile data and prepare reports. As well as prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Prepare training materials and trains key production employees and production supervisors on new work.
