As a member of the Global Cutting Engineering team, the Process Engineer will be responsible to assess and organize data received from sales, process customer CAD drawings into internal standard format, adapt to changes in materials, standards and new technologies, and assess nesting utilization studies to provide costing simulations back to the sales team. Process Engineers must be able to interpret customer technical and appearance standards and develop internal process controls to align with the customer requirement. Process Engineers will be required to further support launch activities with the production facilities to provide solutions and strategies to maximize cutting profits. Through the support of the Lear Leather Division Cutting Plant Operations and Global Cutting Engineering department, the candidate will have exposure to multi-functional global leadership teams.
