The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Commissioning, qualifying, and supporting assembly for SCBA products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new products. Leading continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques. Determining and implementing capital improvement projects. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience working with Lean Manufacturing concepts/practices.
  • Demonstrated experience participating on cross functional teams.
  • Flexible to provide support across different shifts of manufacturing operations as needed.
  • Engineering co-op or inter experience.
  • Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion.
