About The Position

This position is responsible to implement new processes, fixtures and tools, improve existing processes and provide technical support to ensure the safe and efficient manufacturing of PCB assemblies.

Requirements

• Ability to read prints.
• Familiarity with assembly techniques using through-hole, SMT, and mixed technology.
• Working knowledge in electronics and PCB’s.
• Experience in dealing with a variety of technical and non-technical functional groups.
• Familiarity with PCB insertion equipment, manual insertion methods, wave soldering, and PCB cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with SMT production equipment.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• BS Degree in Engineering or previous experience as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer.
• 2-3 years of direct experience in PCB assemblies involving through-hole, SMT, or mixed technology.

Responsibilities

• Implement new processes, fixtures and tools.
• Improve existing processes.
• Provide technical support to ensure the safe and efficient manufacturing of PCB assemblies.
• Perform other duties as required to support the manufacturing areas.
• Evaluate equipment considered for purchase.
