About The Position

As a Process Engineer within the Automotive Glass Manufacturing Industry, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality product delivery and operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be on analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions that reduce waste and increase productivity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to align process improvements with business objectives. Utilizing advanced process simulation and control techniques, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives that support sustainable manufacturing practices. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to delivering superior consumer products while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or consumer support environment.
• Strong knowledge of process simulation tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in process control techniques and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab.
• Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering skills form the foundation for designing and optimizing manufacturing workflows.
• Process Simulation and Process Control skills are applied daily to model processes and maintain consistent production quality.
• Manufacturing Operations knowledge enables effective collaboration with production teams to implement improvements and troubleshoot issues.
• Scrap Reduction expertise is critical for identifying inefficiencies and driving cost-saving initiatives.
• Proficiency in Minitab supports data-driven decision-making by analyzing production data to uncover trends and root causes, ensuring continuous process enhancement.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in consumer goods manufacturing or support services.
• Familiarity with advanced process automation and control systems.
• Demonstrated success in scrap reduction and waste management projects.

Responsibilities
