This role provides engineering and technical support for the manufacturing of non-woven products, specifically focusing on elastic and film products. The engineer will be involved in materials, process, project, equipment, and methods definition, development, and optimization. Key responsibilities include planning and conducting experimental evaluations for process optimization, providing technical support for equipment maintenance and modification, and driving engineering activities for new products. The role also involves supporting new product trials using Lean Manufacturing methods, executing Statistical Process Control, leading root cause analysis for inefficiencies, and conducting process improvement analyses. Additionally, the engineer will create process procedure documentation, support training procedures, execute supplier and customer complaint investigations, design process parameters for new products, and elaborate reports for developments, initiatives, or issues. The position also includes executing machinery and computer system validation, Change Control for parts and centerlines, managing the product structure within the ERP (Build of Materials), and leading Preventive Maintenance plans from a Process Engineering perspective.
