About The Position

The Process Engineer role at Freudenberg focuses on maintaining and improving process capabilities through the use of appropriate tools and methodologies. This position involves analyzing numerical data to identify patterns and develop optimal workflows, as well as reviewing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems and leveraging technology to achieve goals. The role also champions a continuous improvement culture, supports New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, and ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. Additionally, the Process Engineer will create training documents, deliver training, and mentor Apprentices and Technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
  • Specified Years of Industry-relevant professional experience
  • Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and improves process capabilities using appropriate tools and applicable methodologies
  • Inputs and analyses numerical data to identify patterns and relationships that can be used to develop optimal workflows and processes
  • Reviews Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems and uses technology to achieve goals
  • Drives and champions a continuous improvement culture
  • Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to prepare products or processes for launch
  • Ensures that all local, legal and Freudenberg requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment are fulfilled
  • Supports the creation of training documents and delivers training
  • Mentors Apprentices and Technicians to increase individual and team understanding and capability
