About The Position

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Process Engineer. The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This role supports day-to-day production, drives continuous improvement, and ensures successful execution of new product launches. The position requires strong technical problem solving, hands-on engagement with production, and a commitment to Autoliv’s safety-first culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2–5+ years in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Experience supporting high-volume production environments
  • Hands-on shop floor experience troubleshooting processes
  • Root cause problem solving (8D, 5 Why)
  • SPC and process capability analysis
  • Lean / continuous improvement initiatives
  • Willingness to work in a production environment (shop floor presence required)
  • Ability to support off-shift production issues as needed
  • Occasional extended hours during launches or critical issues
  • Ability to travel (limited) for training or equipment support if required.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive or regulated manufacturing experience
  • APQP / PPAP exposure
  • Experience with automated assembly equipment
