About The Position

As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for our cosmetic products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Understanding of production standards and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the cosmetics industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to process optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and quality management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cosmetic products.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and validation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Perform process troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve production issues and ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and batch records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process reliability, productivity, and safety.
  • Support scale-up activities for new product launches and process transfers to production facilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in cosmetic manufacturing to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, providing mentorship to junior team members, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
