About The Position
Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Project Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN. A DOE Q Clearance or DOD Equivalent is preferred to be considered for this position. Requirements
- BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited school in a technical discipline, plus 10 years or more of direct experience required, or an MA or MS with 10 plus years of experience.
- US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide Project Engineering support and coordination for various projects across one but not limited to; Commercial, Infrastructure, Production Modernization, and/or Production Stockpile projects.
- Provide Project Engineering support necessary to complete planning, design and implementation of new machine tools and/or infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives.
- Appropriately apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
- Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
- Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
- Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
- Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.
- Coordinate and integrate technical resources both internal and external to the ME organization for expense-funded Production capability initiatives.
