Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BS ChE) or equivalent four-year engineering degree
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple priorities and projects

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dry-blending manufacturing experience
  • Experience with ABB systems or similar DCS (Distributed Control System) platforms

Responsibilities

  • Engineer Better Processes: You’ll play a key role in identifying, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
  • Lead process identification and optimization initiatives
  • Develop written procedures, operating instructions, and process documentation
  • Configure, optimize, and support industrial processes from concept through startup and certification
  • Assess manufacturing processes through measurement, analysis, and interpretation of operational data
  • Perform process simulations and evaluate process performance
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: You’ll help create smarter, safer, and more efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and product quality
  • Design, test, upgrade, and improve systems and processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer service
  • Recommend process improvements and operational changes based on data and plant performance
  • Partner Across the Plant: Collaboration is critical to success in this role. Work proactively with site leadership, engineering teams, technical resources, and operations personnel
  • Support production and troubleshooting activities as needed
  • Manage projects while balancing cost, timing, and operational priorities
  • Perform risk assessments and support safe, reliable plant operations
  • Deliver Results: You’ll own projects from idea to execution while ensuring high standards of performance and accountability.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously through completion
  • Support startup activities, validation, and process certification efforts
  • Perform additional duties as business needs evolve
