About The Position

The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to maximize performance, eliminate losses, improve capability, and ensure process stability through identification, eradication & prevention FI SWP. The Process Engineer acts as a technical problem solver, data-driven analyst, and change agent to ensure sustainable process performance and capability building at front line.

Requirements

  • CI and high-performance work systems experience
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities
  • Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment
  • Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems
  • Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools
  • Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process
  • Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (Engineering is preferred)
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally within a fast-paced operational setting.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Lean manufacturing methodologies.

  • Food industry experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Loss Identification: Identity and understanding sporadic losses within front line leaders. Accountable for chronic losses identification through weekly, monthly and quarterly exercise. Analyze production and quality data trends. Accountable for data collection at line level. Quantify financial impact of improvements. (Glidepaths construction)
  • Loss Eradication: Drive and teach structured basic problem-solving for sporadic losses. Accountable for structured advance problem-solving for chronic losses. Lead, train and collaborate in Focused Improvement initiatives for productivity commitments Support breakdown analysis with technical expertise PM Analyze and improve process capability (Cp, Cpk) reducing variability through control process. Optimize cycle times and throughput. (SMED, Throughput management)
  • Loss Prevention: Standardize best operating conditions through developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Implement visual management and control plans. Ensure sustainment through audits and governance.
  • IL6S Pillar Integration and Capability Building: Partner with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) to define process control points. Support Planned Maintenance (PM) with technical input. Lead Quality Maintenance (QM) initiatives to prevent defects. Contribute to Early Equipment Management (EEM) for new installations and new products. Train operators and supervisors on process fundamentals and structured problem-solving. Facilitate Kaizen workshops. Develop technical documentation and training materials.
