The process engineer monitors, maintains and improves operating procedures based on production, quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Two to four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SCADA software
Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor the day-to-day engineering and production metrics
Use experimental design to identify key process control metrics targeted at improved throughput, yields, and downstream product requirements.
Implement SPC techniques as appropriate
Maintain control systems including any data acquisition or management strategies.
Insure proper output of new equipment as it is installed.
Report results, activities and recommendations on a routine basis as assigned
Control and change grade specifications as necessary, following established ISO guidelines.
