The process engineer monitors, maintains and improves operating procedures based on production, quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Two to four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SCADA software
  • Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the day-to-day engineering and production metrics
  • Use experimental design to identify key process control metrics targeted at improved throughput, yields, and downstream product requirements.
  • Implement SPC techniques as appropriate
  • Maintain control systems including any data acquisition or management strategies.
  • Insure proper output of new equipment as it is installed.
  • Report results, activities and recommendations on a routine basis as assigned
  • Control and change grade specifications as necessary, following established ISO guidelines.
  • Champion projects to improve quality
