About The Position

Valeo is a global tech company focused on developing innovative mobility solutions. As a Process/Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing production efficiency, managing the industrialization of new products, and sharing industrial process knowledge. You will also contribute to the design of new equipment and production lines, and lead Lean design workshops.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing practices.
Automotive industry experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Manage production equipment introduction using IPROM.
Oversee equipment or assembly line development with suppliers.
Design small tools and validate supplier proposals.
Define acceptance criteria for new equipment or lines.
Perform pre-acceptance and acceptance of equipment.
Conduct line trials and deliver reports.
Build and follow up on action plans.
Perform and/or collect equipment and process capabilities.
Set up equipment and propose a PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN.
Participate in PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN.
Monitor QCDM and propose improvements.
Survey equipment performance and optimize it.
Work on cycle time reduction to optimize investments, material, and labor costs.
Update routing on the information system with SPV validation.
Support production technicians (training, analysis, problem-solving).
Liaise with suppliers for improvements and support.
Participate in SPV workshops.
Participate in APU QRQC.
Validate any standard changes proposed by sites.
Know, apply, and promote standards (PG, sites, or corporate) in the domain.
Apply SPV rules.
Ensure compliance with Safety and Environment procedures of the Valeo Group.
Maintain 5S and report issues.
Alert for safety rules infringements.
