About The Position

The Process Engineer will lead and manage engineering projects from planning through implementation, coordinating with operations, quality, maintenance, and suppliers. This role involves analyzing metallurgical and mechanical data to support process improvements, troubleshooting manufacturing and equipment-related issues, and reviewing engineering drawings and specifications. The engineer will also support production trials, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing shop-floor support and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or industrial engineering environments.
  • Experience with project management, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of metallurgical processes, materials behavior, and troubleshooting.
  • Project management (scope, schedule, cost, and risk management).
  • Metallurgical analysis and materials engineering knowledge.
  • Mechanical systems design and evaluation.
  • Manufacturing process and production support experience.
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Supplier/contractor coordination and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with heat treatment processes and industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Creo, or similar software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with heat treatment, forging, casting, or steel manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting capital equipment projects and plant installations.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from planning through implementation.
