About The Position

As a Winter 2027 Process Engineer Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will drive TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, and continuous improvement while helping improve equipment reliability, reduce production losses, and drive manufacturing efficiency. This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities.
  • Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking – Ability to identify equipment and process losses, analyze data, and develop practical solutions to improve OEE, reliability, and production efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Ability to work effectively with operators, technicians, and leadership, communicate improvement opportunities, and help drive consistent TPM standards across the team.
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Cannot be an F-1 (student) visa holder who requires sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze downtime, OEE, waste, and equipment losses to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support TPM, 5S, and Autonomous Maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Identify and drive improvements in cleaning, inspection, lubrication, centerlining, and abnormality identification activities.
  • Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to implement standard work, CILs, visual management, and process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement projects focused on increasing line performance, reducing losses, and sustaining TPM standards.
  • Engage and partner on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Receive mentor support for your professional development.
  • Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders.
  • Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting.
  • Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business.
