Process Engineer - Internationl Falls
About The Position
Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is a Fortune 500 company and a solutions provider in the corrugated packaging and white paper industries. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical and operating support to various departments, including optimization, energy, cost savings, technical and process studies, technology implementation, and operator training. This role also involves completing projects and development activities to prepare for future operational and maintenance positions, while enhancing skill development and gaining orientation in various process areas.
Requirements
- BS Degree in engineering required (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Paper Science, or Environmental).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a current valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Co-op or Intern experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operating support to departments, support groups, and hourly operations employees in the areas of optimization, energy, cost savings, technical and process studies, technology implementation and operator training.
- Complete projects and development activities to prepare for operation and maintenance positions as vacancies occur.
- Enhance skill development while gaining orientation of various process areas.
