Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years' experience in process development in a related world class manufacturing company
  • Ability to lead a cross functional team
  • Ability to influence others and reach consensus
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements
  • Effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s)

  • Thorough understanding of the materials used in the industry

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support in multiple areas of manufacturing.
  • Specify, develop, justify, implement, and sustain assembly equipment and materials.
  • Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
  • Apply statistical problem solving to identify root cause, evaluate new equipment and processes and process improvement activities.
  • Interpret results and provide recommendations to management.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in equipment, industry standards, best practices, and developments in assembly processes.
  • Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
