Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field
- 3 years of engineering experience
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, and other disciplines across the business
- Willingness to travel once or twice a quarter domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Work and maintain confidential information.
- Support the slip ring production departments and Outsource Vendors.
- Oversee the manufacturing process development with a domestic and international team.
- Order and support manufacturing tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layout, quotes and continuous improvement.
- Review and respond to request for quotes on new orders.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical manufacturing design reviews and offer improvement suggestions for manufacturability.
- Travel off-Site travel domestically and internationally.
- Support offshore vendors with technical problem solving.
- Enforce and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements as they apply such as ITAR.
- Provide reports to management on daily, weekly, and monthly performance to schedules and expenditures.
- Support technical exchange discussions with suppliers and Moog.
- Cross-train to help in other areas.
- Complete any other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or operations manager.
