You will lead and execute CI initiatives to optimize safety, quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and cost performance across the plant. This is a highly visible, empowering role with broad project exposure and strong mentorship from cross‑functional leaders. Comfortable on the floor — you enjoy working with operators, observing real-time issues, and implementing practical solutions. A problem solver — strong analytical skills, root cause analysis, 5 Whys, DMAIC/Lean/Six Sigma mindset. Flexible and multifaceted — willing to jump into different initiatives as the plant grows and evolves.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems in production environments
  • Ability to wear a respirator.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–7 years of engineering or continuous improvement experience (Operations, CI, Process, Quality, Validation).
  • Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, 5 Whys, or similar methodologies.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing excellence, quality engineering, or process validation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvement programs for assigned equipment and production areas.
  • Participate in daily operations meetings; provide problem‑solving leadership and drive actions forward.
  • Analyze machine performance, waste trends, and process disruptions; identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Material Suppliers to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Serve as a technical resource on equipment modifications, rebuilds, product enhancements, and capital projects
  • Write/revise work instructions and process documentation.
  • Train operators, line leads, mechanics, and other team members on new processes and best practices.
  • Assist in developing site‑wide process control strategies to ensure compliance, efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Introduce new technologies and industry best practices into daily operations.
  • Support development of preventive maintenance programs and machine trials
