FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on CFM56 and V2500 engines. JOB OVERVIEW FTAI Aviation’s Innovation Group is the company’s strategic division dedicated to developing the next generation of aviation technologies. The team supports daily operations while driving improvement initiatives that enable long‑term financial and technological growth. We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to play a key role in the development and implementation of manufacturing and assembly processes for FTAI’s aeroderivative engine program. In this position, you will ensure that all tooling, equipment, and work instructions are fully established to support efficient and repeatable engine production. This is a hands‑on role within the MRO shop environment, offering close collaboration with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to design and implement effective production flows from the ground up. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Management, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aerospace process engineering, production engineering, or project management.
  • Proven experience introducing new manufacturing processes or industrializing new products within aerospace, MRO, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP, Lean).
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, define, and document manufacturing and assembly processes required for the production of FTAI’s aeroderivative engine.
  • Create clear and structured work instructions, standard operating procedures, routing sheets, and process flow documentation to support shop floor execution.
  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and successful process implementation.
