About The Position

The Process Engineer will provide engineering and technical support to manufacturing operations focused on nonwoven product lines across multiple industries. This role participates in materials, process, project, equipment, and methods development to optimize manufacturing performance. Responsibilities include planning and executing experimental evaluations, improving process efficiency, supporting equipment maintenance and modifications, and contributing to the development and commercialization of new products. The Process Engineer will lead and support process optimization initiatives, new product trials, and productivity improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Field
  • Up to three years of experience
  • Industrial machinery troubleshooting
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Demonstrated PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) project skills
  • Structured, disciplined approach to daily activities
  • Accountability for assigned tasks and outcomes
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Results-driven mindset
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily process support to manufacturing operations.
  • Lead root cause analyses to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses to support continuous process improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation and standard procedures.
  • Support training activities related to new or revised process procedures.
  • Assist with equipment repairs, replacements, and modifications to improve reliability and functionality.
  • Participate in new product engineering efforts and support plant trials.
  • Participate in materials, process, project, equipment, and methods development to optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Plan and execute experimental evaluations.
