About The Position

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support process optimization and continuous improvement within a cement manufacturing operation. This role will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Environmental teams to improve plant performance, reliability, product quality and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 2–5 years of process, production or industrial manufacturing experience preferred
• Understanding of thermodynamics, combustion, heat transfer and process optimization
• Familiarity with PLC, DCS, HMI and industrial process control systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Environmental teams
• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions

Nice To Haves

• Cement or heavy industrial manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze kiln, raw mill, finish mill and material handling performance
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reliability and energy efficiency
• Support process control and automation improvements
• Troubleshoot process issues and participate in root cause analysis
• Conduct process and equipment audits, material sampling and heat/material balance studies
• Develop and review operating procedures
• Support commissioning and testing of new process equipment
• Participate in capital projects and process design evaluations
• Train operators on process fundamentals and data interpretation
