About The Position
FLSmidth Inc. is seeking an Operations Engineer Global PerformanceIQ Hub for its office in Midvale, UT. This role will lead, manage, and execute all activities to develop the Performance IQ business line in the NAMER region. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related Engineering field, and 2 years' experience in the job offered or any related occupation. This includes 2 years' experience providing in-depth knowledge of mining operations, safety protocols, and process optimization; 2 years' experience analyzing complex operational data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making across circuits such as grinding, flotation, and tailings; and 2 years' experience developing innovative solutions in dynamic environments. Remote work from home 40% of the time is permitted, but the candidate must live within commuting distance of the Midvale, UT office. The position requires the candidate to travel 10% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 3-4 days in duration. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. Experience may have been gained concurrently. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related Engineering field.
- 2 years' experience in the job offered or any related occupation.
